Le visiteur est accueilli par les tons chaleureux d\u2019une ancienne maison d\u2019habitation au milieu d\u2019un parc. L\u2019exposition permanente du Mus\u00e9e <a href=\"http:\/\/cs6nvasrbe.preview.infomaniak.website\/historique\/\">r\u00e9nov\u00e9 en 2014<\/a> est install\u00e9e dans une Villa bourgeoise du milieu du 19<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, aux d\u00e9cors de faux marbres et aux beaux parquets grin\u00e7ants. Des caves aux combles, objets, images et films racontent <a href=\"http:\/\/cs6nvasrbe.preview.infomaniak.website\/exposition-de-reference\/\">La Chaux-de-Fonds en image(s)<\/a>, dans une sc\u00e9nographie sobre et contemporaine. Un parcours tant th\u00e9matique que chronologique conduit le visiteur des premiers d\u00e9frichements du territoire au Moyen \u00c2ge au d\u00e9veloppement industriel, politique, social et culturel des 19<sup>e<\/sup> et 20<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cles. Des figures chaux-de-fonni\u00e8res pass\u00e9es et pr\u00e9sentes ont une place au Mus\u00e9e, compl\u00e9tant les facettes de cette localit\u00e9 dont la richesse de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanismehorloger.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">l\u2019urbanisme horloger<\/a> est inscrite sur la liste du Patrimoine mondial de l\u2019UNESCO.
